Transforming a Quantity Surveying Firm’s Digital Presence
Overview
When Tillyard first approached me, they were an established business with a strong reputation in quantity surveying. However, their outdated website was no longer reflective of their professionalism or market growth. Their digital presence needed to better showcase their expertise and attract the right clients while providing Tillyard with the control to manage content independently. Together with Hannah from Boost, we set out to redefine Tillyard’s online presence with a custom-built website that aligned with their goals and elevated their brand.
The Problem
Tillyard’s existing website was not effectively supporting their business goals. The outdated design failed to reflect their professional reputation, and a poor user experience made it difficult for potential clients to navigate and find essential information about their services. Additionally, the lack of flexibility in their old platform prevented them from updating content easily, limiting their ability to keep the site current and relevant.
Cause
The core issues stemmed from an outdated, inflexible website that didn’t align with Tillyard’s evolving needs. The limited functionality and lack of control meant that they couldn’t manage their digital presence effectively, missing opportunities to engage potential clients and build relationships. The existing design and structure also hindered the site’s ability to convey Tillyard’s professionalism and unique value.
Impact
Without an effective website, Tillyard was losing out on potential leads and client engagement. The site’s poor design and usability made it challenging for visitors to get a true sense of Tillyard’s strengths, likely leading to missed opportunities with clients who would value their services. Additionally, Tillyard’s lack of control over content updates restricted their ability to respond quickly to market changes or update their service offerings.

Our plan included a custom website design with an intuitive user experience, clear navigation, and streamlined access to information about Tillyard’s services. Additionally, we developed the site in Webflow to give Tillyard full control over content updates, allowing their website to adapt and grow alongside their business.

The newly launched Tillyard website now features a clean, minimalist design that speaks to their professional reputation and expertise. The site’s intuitive navigation guides visitors to service-specific landing pages, providing detailed insights into each of Tillyard’s core offerings and guiding potential clients toward contact options.
With Webflow as the platform, Tillyard’s team now has the flexibility to update content, add projects, and manage service details independently, all in real-time. This new site positions Tillyard as a trusted leader in their industry while supporting long-term growth with a scalable, user-friendly platform.
