Overview
Coyote, a dynamic and popular party band, approached us to create a new brand identity and custom website that would better represent their place in the industry. In collaboration with The Observatory’s creative team for design and art direction, our goal was to transform their vision into a high-performing digital experience that would scale with their expanding schedule of shows.
The Problem
Coyote needed a custom-built website that would showcase their energetic performances and varied shows, all while maintaining a bold and sleek aesthetic. The Observatory set the design direction, and our challenge was to bring this vision to life in a site that balanced strong visual storytelling with seamless functionality, without sacrificing performance.
Cause
The need for a fully custom website stemmed from limitations in Coyote’s existing digital presence, which couldn’t effectively support the volume of updates or the rich design and visual elements they required. Additionally, the old site’s back-end lacked flexibility, making it difficult for the team to manage content updates and events efficiently.
Impact
Without a robust digital platform, Coyote risked losing the opportunity to showcase their brand fully, which could limit their ability to connect with audiences and potential clients. An outdated or poorly functioning site would fall short of reflecting the band’s energy and high-caliber shows, potentially leading to lost bookings and reduced engagement.
